Complete Fire Extinguisher Services

One call covers every commercial fire extinguisher service you need — installation, inspection, recharge, replacement, and tagging.

Installation & Placement

We assess your floor plan and hazards, then mount extinguishers at the correct height, spacing, and travel distance required by NFPA 10 — no guesswork, no failed inspections, and your extinguishers stay up to code.

Monthly & Annual Inspections

We handle the certified annual inspection your extinguishers are legally required to have under OSHA and NFPA 10, apply a new tamper seal and inspection tag, and train your staff on the quick monthly visual checks that keep you covered in between.

Recharge & Hydrostatic Testing

Any extinguisher that’s been discharged, damaged, or aged out gets recharged or hydrostatically tested on-site or at our shop, following manufacturer and NFPA intervals for ABC dry chemical, CO2, water, foam, and wet chemical units.

Sales & Replacement

New construction, an expired unit, or a failed inspection — we stock and supply portable fire extinguishers for every hazard class so a replacement is never more than a phone call away.

Compliance Tags & Documentation

Every service visit leaves you with a dated inspection tag and tamper seal on the unit and a written compliance record on file, so you can prove fire code compliance the moment an inspector asks.

Employee Fire Extinguisher Training

Hands-on training teaches your team the PASS technique and when to fight a fire versus evacuate — a requirement OSHA and many insurers expect businesses to document.

How Our Fire Extinguisher Service Works

01. Schedule Your Visit

Book online or call — we work around your business hours, not the other way around.

02. We Inspect & Service On-Site

A certified technician checks pressure, condition, and placement, then recharges, repairs, or replaces anything that doesn’t pass.

03. Tag, Certify & Document

Every unit gets a dated compliance tag, and you get a written report for your records and your fire marshal.

04. Reminders Keep You Compliant

We track your next inspection date and reach out before it’s due, so compliance never depends on you remembering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Extinguishers need a quick visual check every month and a full professional inspection every 12 months. Depending on the unit, additional maintenance or hydrostatic testing is required every 6 or 12 years.

The monthly check is a fast walk-by your own staff can do — confirming the extinguisher is present, visible, and shows a charged gauge. The annual inspection has to be performed by a certified technician who verifies internal condition, weight, and code-compliant placement, then tags the unit.

If the gauge reads empty or overcharged, the cylinder shows corrosion or damage, or the unit has passed its hydrostatic test window, replacement is usually more cost-effective than repair. We’ll always tell you honestly which option makes sense during your inspection.

It depends on what could catch fire in your space. Commercial kitchens need Class K units in addition to standard coverage, auto shops and warehouses need Class B protection for flammable liquids, and most offices and retail spaces are covered by a multi-purpose ABC unit. We size and place units during a walkthrough of your property.

Yes. Every service visit leaves a dated tag on each unit plus a written report you can keep on file and hand over immediately if a fire marshal or insurance auditor asks for proof of compliance.

Yes. We schedule most fire extinguisher service within the same week, and we’re available for urgent situations like a failed inspection deadline or a discharged unit that needs immediate replacement.

We serve Charlotte and the surrounding region, including Concord, Gastonia, Matthews, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Cornelius, and Mooresville, plus Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, and Union counties.

Most annual professional inspections run $40–$100 per visit depending on how many units you have and what type they are — specialty extinguishers like wet chemical or clean agent units cost more to service than standard ABC dry chemical units. We give you an upfront, per-unit quote before any work starts.

Yes. OSHA requires a monthly visual check and an annual maintenance inspection on every portable fire extinguisher in the workplace, in addition to NFPA 10’s 6-year and 12-year testing intervals.
